This June, Vetri will highlight new work by Australian artists Anne Clifton and Peter Bowles in a feature titled Still Busy. Their newest pieces will be presented alongside a wider selection of works by Vetri gallery artists. Still Busy highlights two distinct yet deeply connected practices shaped through decades of collaboration, technical experimentation, and material research in glass.
Based in Tasmania, Clifton and Bowles work together through their studio Glass Manifesto, one of Australia’s leading independent glass studios. While each artist maintains an individual voice, both approach glass as a material capable of holding light, movement, surface, and physical presence in subtle and complex ways.
