Vetri is pleased to announce that Zak Helenske‘s second solo exhibition, HYPER STILL, will be on view July 1 – 31. In anticipation of this exhibition, the Vetri team visited Zak in his Ballard studio in order to share this behind-the-scenes preview with you!
Known for objects that engage with the intimate spaces of daily life, Zak presents new pots and orthographic panels that shift scale and context. This still life of objects and images explores the world as both complex and transparent. He uses space, light, and shadow on classic forms in a restrained color pallet in response to our isolated physical and hyper-digital realities.
