On Friday March 24th, Saturday March 25th, and Sunday March 26th, when you shop at Vetri, we will donate 10% of the sale to Artist Trust. These donations will support grants and programs for individual artists in Washington State through the Grants for Artist Projects initiative. To date, Artist Trust has awarded over $10 million in support of artists living in our state. In 2017, Artist Trust will award 61 Washington State artists with $1,500 grants. With federal arts funding at risk, we think it is especially important that we support the organizations that provide these vital resources for artists.
We are excited to give back to Artist Trust in a new and special way. Our gallery has a longstanding relationship with Artist Trust, and their mission is close to our hearts. Many of our artists have received grants through the organization, and we enjoy discovering new artists through Artist Trust’s programming. We have been a cultural partner with Artist Trust for their annual auctions; our employees have volunteered at their events, and our Gallery Director is a board member.
