David Chatt

David Chatt is a sculptural beadworker, based in Seattle Washinton. He holds a B.A. in Design from Western Washington University, and he was the recipient of the Sosin and Maveety scholarships at Pilchuck School of Glass.  Chatt is a former resident at the Penland School of Craft. His work is in the permanent collections of numerous museums, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian, Corning Museum of Glass, Museum of Art and Design, NYC, and The Tacoma Museum of Glass. In 2007 the Bellevue Arts Museum honored him with a retrospective, entitled Two Hands, Twenty Years, and a Billion Beads.
