Theresa Wingert

Theresa Wingert is a multidisciplinary artist working across printmaking, filmmaking, photography, sculpture and inventive culinary installation. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from Western Washington University and has exhibited nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions. Often, Theresa’s work reflects her interest in sensory experience, emotional resonance, and the porous boundaries between media.  In her recent monotype series, Things We Carry, she explores memory and material through layered prints made with chine-collé, suggesting the quiet intimacy we hold onto, both physically and emotionally. In this evocative new work, abstract forms hover in fields of subtle color and texture, suggesting artifacts pulled from pockets, dream fragments. Each print feels like a slow, deliberate process of layering ink, paper, and intuition, inviting viewers into a space between memory and sensation.

Wingert lives and works in Seattle and Los Angeles and is the founder of Unbelievably Warm, a space for immersive and experimental art.
