Kelsie Rudolph

Kelsie Rudolph, a ceramic furniture designer and maker from Helena, Montana, blends her art background with a focused dedication to utilitarian objects. Transitioning from pottery to large-scale ceramic furniture, her work embodies the fusion of art and design. Mindful of full-body interaction, Rudolph prioritizes durability, ergonomics, and scale, employing innovative architectural techniques to integrate light, shadow, shape, and form into bold yet inviting surfaces.

Inspired by domestic architecture, her pieces range from furniture to pottery, each informing the next. With an MFA from Montana State University and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Rudolph’s work has gained international recognition and has been exhibited worldwide. She has completed prestigious residencies, including one at the Archie Bray Foundation, and continues contributing to Montana’s artistic community and beyond.
