K.C. Grennan & Scott Fitzel

Xen Bowls are solid glass candle votives created by K.C. Grennan & Scott Fitzel. Molten glass is ladled into a mold in the hot shop at Mosquito Farm Studios in rural Kahaluu on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Xen Bowl design was born when the pair lived in Seattle and practiced yoga with our gallery founder. Each candleholder is 8 inches in diameter and weighs 4 1/2 pounds. When lit, the flicker of candlelight creates the effect of rippling water.

K.C. Grennan & Scott Fitzel are both sculpture artists, working in glass and metal. Click here to watch a video about their furniture, lighting and architectural projects in Hawaii.
