Beccy Feather

Beccy Feather is a British glass artist and designer based in Bremerton, Washington. With over twenty years of experience working in glass, she combines traditional flame-working techniques with contemporary approaches to challenge the boundaries between craft, design, and function. Her work explores the relationship between aesthetics and utility, transforming glass into vibrant, thought-provoking objects that reflect both technical skill and creative curiosity. Her work is characterized by bold color, fluid form, and luminous surfaces that emphasize the material’s most expressive qualities.

Feather holds an MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and draws on a background in studio production, teaching, and public engagement. Her practice is informed by a balance of humor, science, and fine craft, as well as a strong interest in making the process of glass accessible and engaging.
