Vetri is pleased to present High-Tech, a solo exhibition by glassblower, Michael Schunke. Schunke is best known for his contemporary, one-of-a-kind, blown glass goblets and believes that a good goblet is born from practice, rhythm, and skill. He dedicates his work to the pursuit of form and craftsmanship with a strong sense of design focused on the relationship between line and volume. The artist’s goblets have gained worldwide recognition from collectors and enthusiasts and have been featured in publications including Elle Decor, Vogue, Veranda, and New York Spaces.
In addition to pursuing his studio practice, Michael Schunke co-operates Vetro Vero glassblowing and design studio with his wife, co-designer and fellow artist, Josie Gluck. They live in Chester County, PA.
