Designers and master craftsmen Andi Kovel and Justin Parker founded Esque Studio as a collaboration rooted in the innovative exploration of modern functional glassware aimed at the design industry. Now with Andi Kovel at the helm, Esque Studio takes her punk-lux style of form, function, and color to create bespoke lighting, sculpture and tabletop objects. Kovel’s work is a homage to glass history and tradition, rooted in curiosity and awe of glass and its inherent properties. Esque Studio’s pieces intend to be interactive and are provocative, experimental, explorative, and intimate.

Andi Kovel graduated from The University of Colorado with a BFA in sculpture and continued with a degree in art education and theory from The School of Visual Arts and New York University. Exhibitions include Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas, Texas, Shanghai Museum of Glas, China, and the Corning Museum of Glass, New York. Koval is named in Time Magazines Design 100 list and was featured as a celebrity participant on the Netflix Series Blown Away.
