Amanda Stern

After completing undergraduate studies at SUNY Purchase and a BFA from Jacksonville University, Stern studied glass and sculpture at Pratt Fine Arts Center, Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Alfred University, and the University of Miami. She was awarded a Pilchuck Glass School full scholarship and Murano Residency Award.

Amanda is based in Los Angeles, where she is an integral part of the burgeoning glass community. Stern has extensive experience in arts and manufacturing, and her work reflects her curiosity about our relationships with one another, material objects, and manufactured and natural environments.
